PATBO — Prism Lurex Gown

PATBO’s Prism Gown is constructed around the contradictory possibilities of showing and obscuring. Fine black mesh is threaded vertically with metallic Lurex, producing a sheer, floor-length silhouette that catches the light in narrow glints rather than covering itself in conventional sequins.

A plunging V-neckline and long sleeves keep the upper construction elongated, while elaborate black-and-gold beading gathers around the waist, interrupting the vertical lines of the fabric before they continue through the sweeping skirt. Beneath the transparency, an integrated stretch bodysuit provides coverage through the lower body while leaving the surrounding gown deliberately sheer. The result is considerably more engineered than its transparency initially suggests. Your actual garments confirm the outer composition as 91% polyamide, 6% metallic polyester and 3% polyester, with a 95% polyamide and 5% elastane lining.
