FURLA’s Constanza takes something ordinarily substantial and proceeds to perforate it. Its leather body is intricately laser-cut into an elaborate repeating pattern, giving the familiar bucket silhouette the delicacy of lace without entirely surrendering the structure of leather.

A drawstring gathers the scalloped upper edge, while a short handle and removable adjustable strap offer three ways of carrying it: by hand, over the shoulder or crossbody. Inside, the otherwise open construction is kept simple with a single slip pocket. In Black the pattern becomes almost graphic; Chalk emphasizes the resemblance to cutwork lace; Red turns the whole exercise considerably less discreet.
