Not quite a perfect circle.

OSCAR DE LA RENTA turns the familiar hoop into something considerably more sculptural. Cast in gleaming, hammered gold-tone metal, each earring traces an irregular O around the ear, its undulating surface deliberately resisting the precision of a conventional circle.

A faceted blue glass stone interrupts the form, embedded into the gold like a small concentration of colour. The irregularities of surface and texture are inherent to the production of the piece, giving each earring the character of something formed rather than merely finished.
