ALEXANDRA MIRO’s Kara takes the conventions of the beach cover-up and renders them considerably less discreet. Cut entirely from sheer red floral lace, the floor-length silhouette plunges deeply at the neckline before falling close through the body and opening into a high front slit.

The sleeves provide most of the drama, widening from the shoulder into long, exaggerated flares that move alongside the equally fluid skirt. Scalloped lace traces the neckline and edges, while the stretch construction allows the otherwise elongated silhouette to follow the body beneath.

Ostensibly for the beach.
